Here are the Ingredients I Avoid when Buying a Facial Toner

Woman Using Facial TonerA facial toner is essential to every skincare routine. It helps get rid of dirt and impurities, which can be harmful to the skin.

However, not all toners are created equal. I personally have a list of harmful ingredients that I avoid when buying a toner, and today, I’m going to share that with you.

Kedma’s Facial Toner

But first, I’ll give you a review of Kedma’s facial toner, which is one of my ultimate go-tos. Their facial skin toner is formulated with both aloe vera and natural minerals from the Dead Sea. Kedma formulated it with the intention to give women and men alike clear skin so that they won’t suffer even from occasional breakouts.

If you’re curious about the product, yes, it really does deliver. It has none of the harmful ingredients that we’re going to talk about today. Plus, everything is natural and healthy for the skin. In fact, after just a week of using it, I’ve noticed that my blackheads and whiteheads are gone! I rarely breakout, too, and my skin is really loving the Dead Sea minerals and aloe vera in this.

Fragrance, Phthalates, Formaldehyde

So, what are the ingredients that you should avoid when buying a toner? The first one is fragrance. If you encounter a toner that lists “fragrance” as one of its ingredients, put it down and look for another one. This ingredient is usually linked to allergies and dermatitis. You don’t want that, do you?

Second is phthalates. These are used to increase the softness of plastic, which you definitely don’t want in your skincare. These things are linked to breast cancer and congenital disabilities.

The third one is formaldehyde. This helps prevent bacteria growth, but sadly, it was found out that it contains high amounts of carcinogens, making it unsafe for human use.

Always read the fine print and the ingredient list when looking for a new toner to buy. Take good care of your skin starting today.
